Maintaining our dedication to excellence and attempting to address the dearth of top-notch, cutting-edge beers in Jersey, we are delighted to announce that the Deli and its restaurant is shortly to stock craft beer from The Kernel in Southwark.
Kernel Brewery is one of the most amazing micro-breweries in the UK – relatively new, but going straight into the stratosphere of world beer leagues.
“The brewery springs from the need to have more good beer. Beer deserving of a certain attention. Beer that forces you to confront and consider what you are drinking. Upfront hops, lingering bitternesses, warming alcohols, bodies of malt. Lengths and depths of flavour. The brewery makes Pale Ales, India Pale Ales and old school London Porters and Stouts towards these ends. Bottled alive, to give them time to grow.”
The owner was recently awarded British Guild of Beer Writers Brewer of the Year, as well as dominating the top 50 beers brewed in the UK Ratebeer list.
