We are now booking for the Autumn season of our highly successful evening-tastings of cheeses and wines, held in the Delicatessen.
For those of you unfamiliar with this event, this is an evening geared towards office social clubs wishing to partake in a fun and educational couple of hours of eating and drinking, whereby small groups of about 15 people are able to sample a wide variety of the finest artisan cheeses, their accompaniments and interesting and unusual wine pairings.
Charcuterie and antipasti can also be included or substituted as required.
The idea of the tastings is to show how unusual and innovative foods and wines and can be paired in an interesting and challenging manner, giving hints and easy tips on how to do this in your own home.

Champagne: Drappier Carte d’Or
Very hard Cheese: 36 month old Parmigiano Reggiano with miele tartufo bianco de Tartuflanghe
Chorey les Baumes
Soft Cheeses: Bath Soft, Brie de Meaux Dongé, Wigmore served with Toasts for Cheese and pears
Palo Cortado Regente
Mountain cheeses: Comté, Tomme de Savoie, Gruyère
Sancerre les Montées Blanches 2011
Goats’ cheeses: Golden Cross, Tymsboro, Rachel served with Toasts for Cheese and apricots
Blues: Roquefort Carles, Colston Basset Stilton, Harbourne Blue served with Toast for Cheese, cherries and Perigord chocolate covered walnuts
