Just arrived in the Deli, these mini Panforte are historically precursors to Panforte Margarita, being one of the older Panforte recipes from Siena.

Darker and more exotic tasting than Margarita, the recipe uses more spices, and some of the sugar is caramelised to produce a deeper richer flavour.
